Living Room Lecture – Creative Photography in Lockdown
Date: 01 July 2020
Where: Online
Cost: Free
Trudie Ballantyne-Meers, Academic Course Leader Photography: Editorial and Advertising, presents the latest in the Living Room Lecture series, which can be streamed via the university’s Facebook page
Trudie will be sharing with you ideas and ways that you can be creative with your photography during these times of restricted movement. Using just your phone camera there are ways of seeing the mundane, familiar, everyday objects and people, in a fresh light. She will even give you a simple brief to try out to get those creative ideas flowing.
For extra inspiration she will also be showing you some fantastic images created during the lockdown by her students on BA Photography: Editorial & Advertising. Please note this isn’t a heavy technical photographic lecture, it will be light, fun and more about seeing and recording what’s around you, so could be a great activity to explore with the whole family, from kids to grandparents and pets!
