Cataloguing of the Gloucestershire Poets, Writers and Artists’ Collection gets underway

Work has begun on the cataloguing of a major collection held in the University Archives and Special Collections. The Gloucestershire Poets, Writers and Artists Collection first started life as the Dymock Poets Archive and Study Centre in 1995. It is made up of various deposits and gifts relating to writers and artists in and connected with Gloucestershire. For more information on the material held in the collection, visit http://resources.glos.ac.uk/departments/lis/archives/collections/gpwa/index.cfm

The collection will be catalogued in two halves, with printed material and publications currently being put onto the Learning Centre catalogue. Once this is completed work will begin on the cataloguing of archive documents and related ephemera.

If you would like more information on the project, or how to visit and view material, please contact University Archive staff.
