Archive Item of the Month – May 2014
16th May 2014
We are firmly in the middle of the exam period, so this month’s item from the archive is a “mock” exam paper, written by St Paul’s College students in 1927.

Wow
I couldn't answer any of them!
The only one I can answer is number 4, “Who built St Paul's?”
Assuming this means St Paul's College (now Francis Close Hall), it was Samuel Daukes, with the buildings opening on 8 April 1850 at a cost of £11,700.
It may of course mean something entirely different… Christopher Wren?!
