National Sporting Heritage Day

Today is National Sporting Heritage Day, and by coinsidence Special Collections and Archives staff have been researching photographs of our sports teams from the First World War era for our Students’ Union. Here are some of the images we’ve come across from our University Archive.
Over the next few weeks, staff and students across the University will be working to commemmorate our fallen alumni at a special Remembrance Concert, 100 years after the start of the First World War. We’ll post more about this in the coming weeks.
