Alumni Stories
Graduates in History go on to have a wide variety of experiences after they leave university. While some may continue in education at postgraduate level, begin careers in teaching, or even go on to become historians, others will make the most of the transferrable skills developed on their degree, for example critical thinking, research, time management, organisation, independence, project management, and teamwork, to pursue a wide variety of careers.
In this series of posts, we will share stories from former students in History at the University of Gloucestershire, who will talk about what they did after they graduated. These will highlight that while a History degree might not prepare you for something specific (unless you become a History teacher or an academic), it will prepare you for anything.
