Second Year Ollie Bentley shoots a series of street/documentary photographs for a personal project on a recent Ed&Ad Photography trip to Vancouver, Canada.
12th July 2019
This is a a series of photographs taken in May, 2019 on East Hasting’s Street and it’s surrounding areas in Vancouver. This personal project is still a work in progress and is my first delve into Street/Documentary Photography. The purpose of these images is to show how people are affected by drug abuse and homelessness, issues that these areas are infamous for. While in Vancouver, I was keen to document the side of the city that tourists would usually choose to ignore.

The issues that characterise the area are a big part of the city and I felt it was important to witness them myself and bring home some documentation of it.’
