Subculture
My work for the subcultures brief really stemmed from the research into the socio-economic state of the decade punk was born.
I wanted to reflect the working class catalyst in which punk was born. Much like grime, punk was born of a dissatisfaction of the working classes and the current state of the world and society as it was. The idea was to rebel. For my subculture series I decided to create an authentic feeling through fashion and location.
