First year Euan Shields produces a stand-out film for the Introduction to Moving Image Module

My project is about film photography, specifically the process from capture to edit. Film photography has been a big part of my life in recent years. As of this year, I’ve set up a film lab where I help students as well as the general public with all of their analogue needs.
This film was a way to show people behind the scenes. Hopefully I’ve been able to show the charm and importance of slowing down to make images the traditional way.
Moving image production is now a central aspect of the editorial and advertising industries and during this (first year) module, students expand their current practice, learning how to produce films, stop motion animations and Vlogs.
