Graduate News: Dan Bowles
17th June 2013
Dan Bowles graduated this year from the Postgrad Diploma in Landscape Architecture and, during the End of Year Show, heard that he had successfully got a job with Bellinger Design in Tewkesbury – congratulations Dan!
Dan sent us a note explaining his thoughts on the four years he spent studying at the University of Gloucestershire:
“I have really loved my four years studying Landscape Architecture at the University of Gloucestershire. Over that time I learnt many skills and developed my understanding and interest in the field. I can’t praise the passion and enthusiasm of all the teaching staff enough. I really am grateful for all their help and the way in which they have prepared us for working in the industry. I have entered my new job with confidence, putting theory into practice which is very exciting!I really want to say thanks for all your encouragement and support over the last few years. It really has been four great years studying here (sometimes hard!) but I can’t thank you, Bill and Robin all enough for your input and support. I think one of the nicest things about our Uni which other landscape students don’t have in quite the same way, is the open door policy you have. I know it probably adds a bit of stress sometimes with us knocking on the door but it really is highly valued.”
Many thanks Dan and good luck with the rest of your career.
NOTE: Dan has just been elected as student representative to the Landscape Institute Council – fantastic work Dan, well done.
