Landscape Urbanism field trip
31st January 2018
A visit to Gloucester: from the Cathedral to the Docks
On Tuesday 30th of January, we had very inspiring visit of the city centre of Gloucester. The students of the module AD5602: Landscape Urbanism discovered the site of their projects and the areas around it.
The main goal of the brief is to create a new vibrant open series of urban spaces developing a stronger connection between two of the most relevant sites of the city: the Cathedral and the Docks.
As first step of the design process, students will realise a conceptual mapping: a personal, critical interpretation of the experience and perception of the area. Can’t wait to see the creative results of this stimulating task!
