Would you like to get involved in highly sustainable, original, crafted projects in beautiful rural locations? Then here is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful, exciting projects, whilst gaining experience on all work stages in a supportive rural workplace.

The successful candidate will be collaborative, hard-working and passionate about sustainable, integrated landscape design. With at least 12 months’ prior experience in practice, you’ll be working towards your Pathway to Chartership or have achieved CMLI status, and you will have a proven ability and proficiency in Vectorworks/AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite and have knowledge and skills in the use of 3-D software packages, ideally Sketch Up, used as a design tool. We value the ability to create hand-drawn sketches as a way of communicating design at concept stage and beyond.

This position will offer you the opportunity to develop, learn and work with our team across different projects with a competitive salary and benefits package.

We’re looking for applicants with:

o Post graduate diploma/Masters in Landscape Architecture
o Landscape Design, supporting projects from feasibility through to detail design
o Strong organisational and great communication skills
o Skill in preparing high-quality presentations and reports (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
o An understanding of planning, construction detailing, tendering and construction process
o Knowledge of or a strong desire to upskill in garden planting design
o Knowledge in native planting design and vegetation classification
o Ability to report write, assist with contract documentation and site supervision
o Principles of LVIA in accordance with the latest best practice guidance, planning process and EIA (desirable)
o Proficiency in Vectorworks or Auto CAD and passion to learn
o Familiarity with working in a quality assurance environment (desirable)
o Driving license with access to own car (desirable)

Salary – from £25,000.00 depending on experience.
