Lockdown Inspired Debut Book at 84

Having been a writer all of her life, it took the enforced confinement of a Covid lockdown for Janet Preen-Jones to publish her first book, at the age of 84.

Janet studied teacher training at St Mary’s College, a predecessor institution of the University of Gloucestershire, in 1956, and moved to Canada ten years later.
After teaching career spanning Canada and the UK, followed by computer technology, Janet eventually retired as Director of Group systems for a life insurance company.

And she is delighted that her latest career move has seen her new book, Memories of My Childhood in 1940’s Wenlock, is now available from Amazon.

You can find out more about Janet’s story in her own words here.
