First Year, Marie Cecil shoots a series of dance photographs to celebrate the art of pole dancing.

This is a series of  images taken during the Summer on location at Wychwood Wild Gardens in Oxfordshire.  I was asked to take some images by Julie, the owner and instructor who runs pole and hoop classes in the Cotswolds. She was looking for something different to the usual indoor shots and so we took the portable equipment outside, the natural outdoor location contrasts well with the artistic poses. I was very interested in getting involved with this shoot as there is still some stigma attached to pole dancing but in reality it is no different to gymnastics and a great way to get fit.
