First Year, Melis Topuz, shoots Calvin Klein for the Clothing, Cosmetic or Sports Brand In store Advert Brief.

I took these two images for the clothing instore advertisement brief. I decided to photograph Calvin Klein Jeans as I had a general interest in the brand. When looking into Calvin Klein the brand, I noticed that most of the adverts were in front of a plain background creating a very clean-cut look. To replicate this, I planned on making the images simple but engaging to an audience.

For my still life shot, I wanted to be able to show a full outfit, so I decided to have the clothes hanging as if a model was wearing them. When photographing the target audience, I took Calvin Klein’s simplistic and clean look under consideration and tried to portray it in this shot.
