Sustrans Liveable Neighbourhoods to give SLS 2012/13 presentation

Finlay McNab, a Senior Urban Designer with Sustrans, will be giving the third Sustainable Landscape Series presentation in the coming year on 27th November 2012. Finlay works with the Liveable Neighbourhoods team at Sustrans, description of their work below:
Sustrans Liveable Neighbourhoods implements DIY Streets, the practical project which combines urban design, community involvement and active travel promotion. Our aim is to work with local residents and other partners to create high quality urban environments which promote sustainable travel behaviour whilst being safe and pleasant to live in and visit.
They have implemented many projects working with local people to create more sustainable local landscapes from the bottom-up.
