Opportunity for graduating landscape architect, Bath/Bristol area

Nicholas Pearson Associates is an award-winning, multidisciplinary, Environmental Design consultancy with complementary expertise in Landscape Architecture, Ecology, and Visualisation.
We promote a collaborative design approach to delivering high quality environmentally and socially responsible projects at all stages of the planning, design, construction, and management process.
We work on a very wide variety of exciting and challenging projects, for a range of clients across the UK, and are looking for a talented individual to join our multi-disciplinary team.
The position will be permanent, full time 37.5 hours a week. It will be office based, however ‘blended’ homeworking is a likely requirement. The office is in a very attractive rural location, but well connected to Bristol and Bath.
Skills and qualifications required:
- A Degree in Landscape Architecture and/ or a postgraduate diploma in Landscape Architecture.
- Membership of the Landscape Institute.
- A current, full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Excellent communication and writing skills and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work independently in support of senior colleagues.
- Design ability, experience and/or an interest in undertaking landscape and visual assessment, surveys and writing reports.
- Proficiency in the use of a range of software including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and preferably other software such as SketchUp, Keyscape and Adobe Creative Suite.
- An understanding of project stages from feasibility, through design, construction and management.
- A basic understanding of the UK planning system.
- An appreciation of biodiversity and how ecology and landscape work together.
- An ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
