Berlin trip 2015
22nd January 2016
The Landscape Architecture international field trip this year was a trip to Berlin. We spent a week in the German capital staying in a hotel near Potsdamerplatz. We visited a fantastic variety of landscapes including memorial landscapes, the new parliament landscapes, ecological parks, large community parks, small community gardens, food production areas, as well as some of the fascinating historical spaces associated with the 20th century conflicts/political shifts.
Berlin offered an incredibly rich series of landscape experiences for the students to learn from, definitely one of the best cities in the world to visit for a trip like this. Enjoy the photographs below, all taken by the students.
