The next Sustainable Landscape Series presentation is by Sue Illman, Past President of the Landscape Institute, Director of Illman Young landscape architects, and graduate of the course here in Cheltenham.  Sue’s talk is entitled Flood & Drought.

The issues of flooding have never been more relevant, but we need to see beyond the typical governmental knee-jerk response to disasters to a comprehensive vision of sustainable water management. Today’s problem may be an excess of water, but the future is equally about drought, and the landscape profession has a key role in delivering the solutions.

The talk will take place on Tuesday 23rd February 2016 in room TC001 on FCH Campus in Cheltenham. More details on the flier here … SLS 2015 Sue Illman lecture
