We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Landscape Architect to join our busy studio team in Bath (or possibly Bristol or Plymouth). We have lots of interesting and challenging projects that we need help with at all work stages. If you’re a graduate landscape architect with good technical and design skills and capable of working independently with the support and direction of the landscape team, we’d like to hear from you.

We need you to be motivated and well organised, with an ability to develop design sketch drawings into technical drawing packages as well as producing presentation material. You’ll need to have a high standard of written and verbal communication too.

Is this the job for you?

We are involved in a wide range of commissions from rural to urban settings and work on a variety of project types, sectors and scales. We are engaged in all stages of design, contributing to early feasibility studies through to technical detailing and monitoring construction on site. Through this role you will gain experience of the different work stages and production packages required for feasibility, planning, tender and construction stages of projects. We will be able to help you develop your skills and offer further training and support in specific areas.

Essential skills

Good time management and organisation
Proficiency in Auto CAD and Adobe Suite Software (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
Working collaboratively in a busy team environment
An ability to detail and provide technical support
Desirable skills and experience

Revit knowledge
Supporting work at all design stages
Experience of taking projects through successful planning applications
Experience of multi-agency working
