D.D. Johnston at Cheltenham Waterstone’s

D.D. Johnston, Creative Writing lecturer at the University of Gloucestershire, will be talking in Cheltenham on Wednesday 12th October. The talk, billed as ‘NOT the Literature Festival,’ will cover why he can’t stand Virginia Woolf, what links James Joyce with Chumbawamba, and why occupying a 12-year-old girl’s slumber party is never, ever, an appropriate protest technique. He’ll also be reading from his novel, Peace, Love, & Petrol Bombs. The talk starts at 4pm at Waterstone’s Bookstore, 33-41 The Promenade. The event is free, everyone is welcome, and the author requests the pleasure of your company at post-talk drinks.
