Writing Competition Results!

The Gentlemen Press have announced the results of their inaugural writing competition for young people, and we’re pleased to say that our very own Jessica Searle is among the winners. Jess, a second year student here at U of G, entered her short story ‘The Fight,’ which placed in the 18-21 year-old category, and has been chosen to appear in the first Gentlemen Press anthology. ‘The Fight’ is a hard-hitting and dramatic short about a mixed martial arts event, and does an exceptional job of capturing the ring-side action and describing the fast-paced fight sequences. Congratulations to Jess and all the other successful entrants.
