Inaugural UoG Novel Writing Contest Officially Launched!

After months of build-up, the wait is over. On Thursday, we sent a representative from our lecturing team down to London to meet with literary agent Becky Thomas, of the Fox Mason Agency, to confirm plans, and finalize the rules, for our first annual University of Gloucestershire Novel Writing Contest. Everything is now in place, and we are both happy and thankful to have Becky acting as our judge this year. As of today, the contest is officially launched, and we are now accepting submissions. Since the end of term is a busy time all around, we’ve decided to give entrants until after Easter to submit their extracts. The final deadline is midnight on Friday May 9th, 2014. Your writing desk awaits, and the countdown has begun. It’s time to tie yourself to your chair, and get writing!
