Open Mics are back for 2018!

The Creative Writing Society have released the first dates for open mic nights this year! If you missed the launch party on Thursday 18th January at the Frog & Fiddle, don’t worry there will be one each month @ Smokey Joe’s Cafe, beginning on
Monday 5th February
and continuing in March with a joint Open Mic night and Magazine Launch Party on
Thursday 8th March.
This is the perfect opportunity for you to take the plunge practice reading out your own work in public in a friendly and supportive (and often inebriated!) atmosphere. Or just turn up to support your friends, meet other writers, and see that it’s not that scary!
