Dinefwr Lit Festival 2012

Now that the teaching year has come to an end, you might very well be missing your weekly literary fix of workshops, lectures, and reading nights. If that’s the case, and autumn term still feels a long way off, you might want to consider checking out some of the many literary festivals taking place this summer. For those in the South West and South Wales area, one of the best is the Dinefwr Literature Festival, which is happening this weekend near Llandeilo, in Carmarthenshire. The line-up includes poets, short story writers, novelists, musicians and filmmakers, from Alistair Reynalds to Gruf Rhys to Clare Keegan, and offers plenty to see and hear, whatever your literary tastes and interests. You can even catch our own Tyler Keevil chatting with Deborah Kay Davies about Desert Island Discs and the musical influences on their work. Tickets are available by the day, or for the entire weekend, with or without camping. The full programme and more info is available on the official website.
