Open Mic this Wednesday

Frog logoLeaves yellowing, knitted scarves appearing, red-kneed children excitedly scrabbling for conkers… Yes, summer is ending and the good news is that open mics are back! This Tuesday, we’re set for the usual combination of poetry, prose, drama, and drinking. Whether you’ve been to many open readings or are new to the whole idea, come along on Wednesday for an informal and relaxed literary evening. You’re encouraged to read some of your work (readings should last no longer than five minutes), but you’re equally welcome just to listen, drink, meet new and familiar faces, or hang around in the smoking area trying to look bohemian. Where is it? In ‘the barn’ at the Frog and Fiddle pub on Cheltenham High Street. When is it? Wednesday 25th September from 7:30pm. In addition to all the usual capers, there will also be an option for anyone interested to try out for the University of Gloucestershire poetry slam team. See you there!
