MS Burrard Inlet Launched

Last week saw the pre-release event of Burrard Inlet, the new book from UoG lecturer Tyler Keevil. The event was held at the Dylan Thomas Centre in Swansea, down near the water and marina – an appropriate backdrop for the launch of a collection that features stories about the fishing industries, manual labour, and coastal life. The official publication date was yesterday, May 1, and over the next few months Tyler will be doing a series of readings to promote the book, along with his recent novel, The Drive. The mini-tour includes appearances at the Aberystwyth Arts Centre, Speakeasy in London, the Hay Festival, the Dinefwr Literature Festival, and Penfro Book Festival.
