Creative Writing open mic event this Tuesday 21st

Barbecues stowed in sheds, children’s sand pits filling with water and leaves; yes, summer is over, but the good news is that open mics are back! This Tuesday, we’re set for the second open mic of the academic year, so brace yourself for the usual combination of poetry, prose, drama, and drinking. The theme is ‘No holds barred’ – so anything goes. This one could get messy.
Whether you’ve been to many open readings or are new to the whole idea, come along on Tuesday for an informal and relaxed literary evening. You’re encouraged to read some of your work (readings should last no longer than five minutes), but you’re equally welcome just to listen, drink, meet new and familiar faces, or hang around in the smoking area trying to look bohemian. Where is it? In ‘the barn’ at the Frog and Fiddle pub on Cheltenham High Street. When is it? Tuesday 21st October from 7:30pm. Be present or be a peasant!
