New Publications and Vote for (Phil’s) Story of the Month!

Fresh from their recent publishing successes earlier this month, UoG students Olly Smith and Phil Bowne are continuing to make headway in the industry – and have placed further work quicker than you can say Jack Robinson.

sr2_roughOlly has shifted from prose to poetry, and his latest poem, ‘Swampsong,’ appears in the new issue of Spectral Realms journal, from American publisher Hippocampus Press.

Phil’s story, ‘Forget-Me-Not,’ has been published online in the January issue of Bartleby Snopes.  But wait – there’s more.  The magazine holds a monthly competition to select a ‘story of the month’ decided on by readers’ votes.  The winner will appear in the semi-annual print version of the magazine.  We wouldn’t want to sway your opinion at all, so we’d strongly recommend taking a look at the other entries before deciding you want to cast your vote for Phil.  You can find the stories and the voting button at the bottom of the page here.  Well done to both Olly and Phil – at this rate they’ll be surpassing their tutors soon.
