Last Creative Writers’ open mic night, this Tuesday
2nd May 2016
Don’t panic – it’s not the last one ever, but it will be the last one this academic year. Of course, for some people who are finishing their degrees before moving away, it may indeed be the last one, even though the tradition will last. That said, the last one was supposed to be the last one, so this one’s kind of like an encore. So I hope there are plenty of readers – let’s make it last! It starts at the Frog and Fiddle at 7:30pm on Tuesday May 3rd (don’t be the last to arrive) and lasts until late. Last thing, please see the FAQs below.
Q: Is this seriously the last one?
A: For this year yes, but there will be more open readings next year.
Q: I haven’t been to any other open readings, can I still come?
A: Of course. If you haven’t been to any during the year this is your chance.
Q: Do I have to read?
A: No. Only if you want to. Open readings are just as much for the listeners as for the readers.
Q: Will there be another one word story?
A: There will be two.
Q: Can I bring my flatmates?
A: Yes. And you should.
