RPE students and UFO religions expert…via the other-worldy medium of Skype!

Level 6 students found themselves engaging with some pretty alien concepts this week as they had an in depth Q and A session with University of Stockholm’s Erik Ostling. The discussions ranged from the influence of and upon elements of popular culture such as X Files, Star Wars and ‘Close Encounters’, to UFO sightings and Alien abductions from Roswell to the Walpiri people of Northern territory. We spoke about UFO religion ethics, the legacy of the Raelien movement and gave some thought to the Church of Scientology. Erik was an incredibly well informed and articulate on line guest and my thanks go out to him wherever he may be…somewhere, out there, beyond the final frontier!
