Glasto 24: There is a green hill far away!

We’re going back there one fine day!!!…It’s been a couple of years since we have taken students to Glastonbury, the beating hear of England’s spiritual and religious landscape. For millennia Glastonbury has been at the centre of a web of ancient Pagan practice, Celtic spirituality, Christian heritage and in more recent years the home of the country’s ever evolving contemporary spiritual journey. Students climbed the ancient Tor to see things from a more angelic angle then descended in to the town via the red and white springs. The high street has always been place where new and established religious and spiritual movements have expressed their identities and provided spiritual consumers with a range of books, artefacts, crystals, shamanic drums, Tibetan Buddhist deities and importantly all things connected to Goddess. This was an amazing opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the lived religious and spiritual ocean that has been developing, changing and evolving since the late 1980’s and a great time was had by all.
