Students of REP and History took the opportunity to explore the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford. This was a really good chance to engage with questions of Britain’s colonial legacy, the ethical questions thrown up by collections of indigenous peoples artefacts and indeed human remains in museum collections. We also considered the relationship between religious practice and belief, material culture, ritual and the environment.

A great day and much to think about and discuss in future seminars.
