University of Gloucestershire RPE and Climate Change Activism.

As an active researcher in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics at University of Gloucestershire I have started to work with members of a number of climate crisis groups looking at the various issues that inspire them to engage in direct action. This weekend I was invited to the Beacon in Stroud to discuss related issues with members of  the Extinction Rebellion and ‘Stop Ecocide’ groups…there is a great deal more to these movements that that which is reported in the media. This on-going engagement, will form part of a longer research project concerning the cultural, religious, spiritual and ethical aspects of the climate crisis movement.
