FCH Campus

The new autumn programme of the Gloucestershire Philosophical Society starts next week and the first talk will be on Wednesday 2nd October at 7 pm on the FCH campus in room HC203. Professor Ken Gemes from Birkbeck College, University of London, will talk on Nietzsche, Trump and Brexit. A very topical issue!

You can find full details on his talk, plus the other talks that will be running this Autumn, on the society’s website. https://glosphilsoc.net/

Since the mid 1980’s Gloucestershire Philosophical Society have held meetings on a variety of topics. We aim to provide a forum for debate on issues of current interest alongside informative lectures from specialists in many areas of philosophical, political, social, scientific and artistic thought. Our meetings are open to both the academic and wider community. We warmly welcome new participants, so why not come along and offer your opinions. All students, staff and members are welcome.

These events are funded by the Royal Institute of Philosophy so they are free, and you don’t need to pre-book.

See you there!
