Uni Glos RPE guest speakers: Theo Wildcroft and Post Lineage Yoga.

Religion, Philosophy and Ethics students researching emergent spiritualities were treated to a great session lead by Theo Wildcroft, one of the foremost thinkers and practitioners in the field of contemporary Yoga. A very experienced yoga teacher herself, Theo guided the students through her research concerning traditional yoga, the counter culture and the emergence of what she terms post lineage yoga. This was a fascinating journey from the midst of Vedic culture, to the heady days of the late sixties, through the New Age and the ‘second summer of love’ to the here and now and the various manifestations of yoga and practice that are flourishing on the contemporary spiritual landscape.
